Welcome back to my channel! In today’s Career Conversations video, I talk about my journey to becoming an engineering professional. I go over my university application experience as an international student in South Africa. I discuss what I knew before I applied, what I found out during my degree and what I found out upon graduating.

In addition to unsolicited career advice, I walk you through how the engineering profession is regulated in South Africa through the Engineering Council of South Africa. I go over International Engineering Alliances and why they matter. I even provide you with a resource to refer to if you are a candidate engineer outside of South Africa looking to register in South Africa.

Please like, subscribe and share this video.

Let me know if you want more career conversations about engineering, management consulting and overall, young professional living. See you in my next video.
